My career began at Primary Children’s Hospital as an emergency room RN. I have seen families at their worst and scariest moments.

Now as Nurse Practitioner I have cared for hundreds of kids: Diagnosing, teaching, and empowering parents to raise healthy children.

My hope is that through this book series, I am able to instill confidence in more parents to care for their children, and help them understand when they need to seek care.

Know before you go...

Gain Confidence. Know When to Treat at Home—and When to See a Doctor.

When your child gets sick, the hardest part isn’t always the illness—it’s knowing what to do next.

A late-night Google search can quickly turn into panic, unnecessary urgent care visits, or an expensive ER bill. Many common childhood illnesses can be safely managed at home, while others need medical attention right away. The problem is knowing the difference.

That’s where the NP Mom eBooks come in.

Created by a nurse practitioner and mom, these easy-to-follow guides help parents confidently decide:

  • When home care is appropriate
  • When it’s time to call your pediatrician
  • When urgent or emergency care is truly needed

For just $10, the right knowledge can help you avoid unnecessary doctor visits, urgent care fees, or ER trips—saving you hundreds or even thousands of dollars over time. At the same time, you’ll gain peace of mind knowing you’re not missing the signs that require professional care.

This isn’t about replacing your doctor. It’s about being an informed parent who knows how to respond calmly and correctly when your child isn’t feeling well.

The NP Mom eBooks give you practical guidance, clear red flags, and real-world advice—so you can make confident decisions that protect both your child’s health and your family’s finances.

Smart care starts with knowing when to stay home—and when not to.
